Los Angeles, California

Known for it's iconic Hollywood sign and "Walk of Fame" Street, city of Los Angeles has a lot more to offer than just being the movie capital of the world.

You will definitely appreciate it's warm climate and some of the most famous beaches including Santa Monica beach and Venice beach along with many small and unique beaches like El Matador.

Of course you can never go wrong with DisneyLand or cater to your artistic side by visiting Getty Museum, Walt Disney Concert Hall or incorporate some science and learning at Griffith Observatory.

If high end shopping is your thing and you got the cash (or plastic) to put to some shining use then there's Rodeo Drive. For everyone else you can still do window shopping and admire at the exotic cars parked on the street.

If you are Star Trek fan don't forget to visit Vasquez Rocks. Here you will be transported to a different planet.

There are ten original segments of Berlin Wall on Wilshire Boulevard, across the street from Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)

  1. Hi! I just stumbled upon your blog and have to say that I love the posts about various American cities - and especially the great pictures. This post I was particularly interested in as I will be moving to LA in February of next year. :)

  2. Great post. I am from California so it was good to see how it is doing out there. I remember when they built the Disney Opera house, it is such a beautiful addition to downtown. Now, parking is another issue. ;) Thanks for sharing
